Waiting game

My due date is fast approaching and I'm finally ready for Evan's arrival. Not that I haven't been looking froward to it all along. I've just really enjoyed my pregnancy. It has been relatively easy so far. Now I'm starting to get uncomfortable. My feet and ankles have really started swelling, so I'm trying to stay full of water. That makes things a little more difficult too because of the frequent trips to the bathroom. For now it looks like I might be induced, probably on Dec. 3. We'll see what the Dr. says on Wednesday at my appointment. As of the last one though I have not had any more progress since the beginning of the month (1 cm, 50% effaced). I'll have an ultrasound when I go in this week. Justin is so excited that we will get a sneak peek at the little guy. Either way the good news is that it will be less than two weeks before we meet him!

Need Sleep

So yesterday I told someone I have no problems sleeping and today I get up at 1 am. What is that all about? I did fall asleep on the couch around 9, but come on. Hopefully, tomorrow night will be better. Right now it doesn't look like I'll be getting any more sleep tonight. Maybe I'm just stressed about getting everything for work done before this baby comes.

Maternity Pics

Here is a sample of the pictures we had done this weekend. I think they look great!

Busy Weekend!

Justin and I didn't do much on Friday night, but were pretty busy for the rest of the weekend. On Saturday morning, we got up bright and early to have his cousin Rebecca take some maternity pictures. It was fun and the pictures are looking really good. From there we went straight home to change shirts for the UH game. Usually there is a pretty long walk to the stadium, so Justin drops me off. He was getting ready to let me out and a parking attendant was asking for parking passes. Justin asked if she was giving them away and mentioned that I was pregnant. She was super nice and gave us a parking pass! The game was pretty good, too. At least the Coogs won. We stopped for a little shopping on the way home and rested until the little goblins started to show up. There are a lot more trick or treaters in the new neighborhood, so that was a lot of fun.

Today was our tour of the hospital. We actually learned quite a bit and have learned that we are not quite ready. Hopefully, Evan will hold off until after my appointment on Thursday since I have some questions. I did have an appointment last Thursday and there was no news. That is good since Justin will be heading to Vegas on Thursday for Keith and Sara's wedding. I'm sad I can't go. After the tour we went to the Galleria for lunch at the Cheesecake Factory and shopping for Justin to get some clothes for Vegas. We're back at home now just relaxing and getting ready to start the week.
